What A Spectacle...

Happy Leap Year! How are y'all spending this extra day of February?

I'm working at the Santa Barbara office today and hoping to leave before the sun goes down so I can catch the sunset!

Today I want to talk eyewear. While I typically wear contacts everyday, I do wear my glasses at night around the house and on the plane when I am traveling. (Anyone else get super dry eyes when flying?)

The glasses I currently have are a super old prescription and I am in dire need of an upgrade. The reason I have waited so long is because a) I am cheap and glasses are expensive and b) finding a super cute pair is hard work.

I've been trying to narrow my search by looking online. Here are my top choices!

I bought my last pair of glasses at a Target store. I'm kind of leaning toward a pair from Warby Parker or David Kind this time around. Both brands offer the option to try on multiple pairs at home. I like the idea of being able to try them on and wear them around to ensure that I like a particular style.  I am also a little nervous about ordering glasses on line.  what if they get my prescription wrong. What if the lenses are scratched? What if the frames don't fit perfectly? Has anyone tried these companies? I'd love any insight!

XOXO
Meg

  1. I'm so envious of people who have no issues wearing contacts on a plane!
I have Warby Parker glasses currently. I absolutely love that they mail you options to try at home and the variety of styles! My only issue is that the sides are so long that I end up hitting them often and pushing my glasses off my face!
