Sweater Weather...

While it is still hot, humid, and well into the 90's in San Antonio, stores are gearing up for fall. The thought of trying on autumn attire makes me sweat just thinking about it, but it is nice to know that cool, crisp air will make its way to the south west at some point in the next few months. 

Since it never gets too terribly cold in San Antonio, I am a big fan of thin, lightweight sweaters to keep me warm when the temperatures drop.

As summer winds down, now is the time to stock up on seasonal must-haves, like bathing suits!

It's Sunny Somewhere... (Right?)

It has been so cold in San Antonio lately. I'm talking chilled to the bone, in need of a hot cup of tea, wrapped in a blanket, cold!

While the temperatures on the east coast and up north are incredibly chillier than where I'm at, I think most of the US is experiencing a cold front right about now -- except my friends in California. Enjoy the sunshine for me, y'all!

At some point the temps have to increase. Right? And it will be bathing suit season before we know it!

Dreaming of Warmer Weather...

My goodness! It has been so cold in San Antonio! I cannot even imagine what the rest of y'all are experiencing! Chicagoans? New York Cityans? (Is that what you are called?) How do you do it?

I even had to break out my heavy winter coat and have been wearing an adorable pair of fingerless mittens my mom made me, nonstop!

While my teeth are chattering and I'm shivering like crazy, I can't help but think about my trip to the Dominican Republic a few weeks back! Ah! To relish in all that sunny goodness!

End of Summer Steals

Woah! Where did August go? We are over halfway through the month and summer is slowly dwindling away (although it is still close to 100 degrees here in San Antonio - sweating my eyeballs out people).

This time of year is perfect to pick up some end of summer steals. That bikini you had your eye on all season? Yeah, it is finally on sale! Now is the time to snatch it up and store it for next season.

I've Got a Crush On You #4

What a week y'all! Between hearings, meetings with clients, studying for the CA bar, and trying to maintain my sanity - it was been one crazy week! I'm exhausted!

I spent today taking a six hour practice exam! I actually scored where I need to be scoring at this point in the game, so I was pretty happy with my progress thus far!

I'm planning on spending the rest of my evening catching up on episodes of the Bachelorette and trying to unwind!

One of my favorite ways to relax before bed is to "window shop" (via my computer screen) for a few minutes. There are so many cute items on the market right now (and so many sales!)

I've Got a Crush on You! #2

I took a year off between undergrad and law school. I lived in Santa Barbara with my friends, worked for this incredible firm, and for the first time ever, had a tiny amount of disposable income.

I worked on State Street, which is where all of the best spots for shopping are located! On my lunch break I would peruse the shops and drink my latte and hunt -- like a sale shopping warrior -- for the best deals!

I don't get to the mall too often now, but I do internet stalk my favorite brands!
