10 x 10 Wardrobe Challenge | Day 1

In case you missed yesterday's post, I am taking on a 10 x 10 wardrobe challenge!

10 pieces of clothing -- 10 outfits -- 10 day!

I decided to kick things off with an outfit I love to wear!

This little number is the definition of comfort and style -- oversized sweater, skinnies, booties, and a quilted vest for a little extra warmth. I bought this sweater when I went to San Francisco a few summers ago and it was freezing! I remember feeling like such a tourist, because I should have known better -- San Francisco is always a bit chilly!

Sweater -- (old, similar)
Vest -- (old, similar)
Skinnies -- J. Crew
Booties -- Sam Edelman

I bought these booties right before Christmas and they have been on repeat ever since! They are so comfortable and required no break in time! They go with just about everything -- my best purchase of 2016, by far!

I feel like day one of my little 10 x 10 challenge was a success!

What do y'all think? Is this something you would wear? Chime in with a comment below!

Scarves for All Types of Weather...

Since it doesn't get too cold in San Antonio in the winter, I can often times forego a heavy winter coat and wrap a scarf around my neck instead.

Scarves that contain some sort of animal fiber -- wool, angora, alpaca, etc -- will provide the most warmth, while silk scarves or accessories made with manmade fabric are more for looks than keeping out the chill.

So if you live somewhere that snows, I would highly recommend looking into some scarves that contain animal fiber.

Here are some adorable scarves for all types of weather...

One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Eight | Nine
