For the Month of October

The time has finally come. Today I finished my last day at the catering company. I am now 30 weeks pregnant and could not imagine that time would have flown this fast. The final trimester is here and I am only 10(ish) weeks away from holding little baby Hailey in my arms :)


Here are some crafts/projects/chores I am working on for this month:

-de-cluttering our guest room/nursery
       
-Painting an old bookcase and dresser for her room (don't worry the hubby will actually be doing the painting)

-Setting up the furniture that we do have/get (we are waiting on a crib and glider)

-Lamaze classes and a tour of the hospital

-CPR classes




We will see how much I can get done this month. We already have so much planned, with youth group on Wednesdays, and figuring out Sunday school lessons, we are swamped it seems.

Third Trimester

I can't believe we are down to our last trimester! Only three more months! Time has truly flown by and I cannot wait to meet this little girl who keeps me up all night (already!)!!!! 

The hubby and I have made our lists and started crossing things off as the arrival of our first baby moves closer. 

Some fun things that I got to do already have been:

• get some more cute maternity clothes
• make our baby registry!!!
• start planning my baby shower (which Megs is going to throw)

Little Baby Girl

That's right party people! We found out earlier this week that we are having a girl! I am so so excited. 


Little Miss Hailey Marie is already so loved by all our family friends and friends and I just cannot wait till she arrives!!!

It's hard to believe we are about 5 months away from meeting our princess. If she is as active as she has been on the inside, I am for sure going to have my hands full when she is here in December! 

What I've been going through this month:
-uncomfortable nauseous (but never feeling like I'm going to throw up) as soon as I lay down at night

- migraines practically every other day

-cramps in my calves and feet at night has been super great

-Our baby girl is moving all over the place 

-starting to get my appetite back...finally!



We are going on Week 19 and I still cannot believe it! This little girl has my heart and I just cannot wait to hold her!

Our little smokey!

We are so excited to finally announce the addition of baby McGaffee coming December 2014. I am officially 14 weeks pregnant and could not be more excited! I hope to share all the ups and downs of the remaining 6 months of this pregnancy. I have been so blessed not only to have a husband who supports me and my dreams with wanting to be a stay at home mom, but also the fact that God has given us this wonderful gift. I also have been lucky to have yet any morning sickness (which is awesome!!!) and my work is even being super cool and I am now working more in the office taking over staffing and rentals for our Summer Events. Our little smokey (we call the baby that since we honeymooned in the smokey mountains..just a little inside joke between us), has been a stud so far. In my first trimester screening test the baby was in the perfect position to get a good measurement, and the same happened when we got to hear the heartbeat. I am just so so so excited!

So far....

I still can't believe I am pregnant!
In December I am going to have a little tiny human!
I have been craving cold sandwiches
All of our family knows
We are still coming up with nursery ideas
and.....we WILL know the sex as soon as we can :)

Hubby is also super excited and bought our little one their first Buffalo Bills Jersey! (yes we know its huge for a baby)
