I love cats! Like, love, love, love cats! I always had a cat growing up and it makes me quite sad that I don't have a kitty to greet me when I get home from work...

Okay! Who am I kidding? My cat never greeted me -- she ignored me like the plague -- but that's how cats show their love! And that's why they are such a great pet! 

Anyway... 

In my efforts to curb my desire to just come home one day with a kitty and beg my hubby to let me keep her, I trolled the web to find the cutest feline inspired fashion and accessories!

It's All Coming Up Roses...

It is dreary today in San Antonio and I am dreaming of Spring as I sit huddled at my desk, wrapped in a blanket, cup of tea in hand. 

Once the warm weather makes its debut (and sticks around for longer than a day or two) I can't wait to hit up my local nursery for plants and flowers and start digging around in the backyard. Since this is my and Hubby's first house, we are very excited to transform our backyard into a little oasis. 

For now I'll just have to revel in the major trend that seems to be popping up everywhere for Spring... Florals.

All That Glitters is Gold...

Sorry (again) for the hiatus! 

I was out in California last week visiting my family and hosting Kir's baby shower! Pictures to come, very soon! And then this week I was playing catch up in the office. Such is the life of an adult!

Anyway...

My brother-in-law and future sister-in-law are getting married in a little over a month. Hubby is the best man and I am so excited to be a bridesmaid! 

All of the bridesmaids are wearing a gold, floor length gown of her choice. 

My bridesmaid dress came in the mail this week. And....

IT IS NOT WHAT THE PICTURE LOOKED LIKE! 

So yesterday I was scrambling like a mad woman, trying to find another gold, floor length dress!

I managed to find a gorgeous dress, and I think I will actually (hopefully) be able to wear it again! And the price can't be beat!
