Holiday Gift Guide 2015: Gardener

Since we moved into our house a little less than a year ago I have found great joy in working in the yard. I don't exactly have a green thumb, but I do like to tinker in the flower beds -- weeding, planting, pruning. Being in the yard is such a nice escape from my otherwise sedentary job.

I've rounded up some fun gifts for the gardener on your gift list.

Happy Gardening!

XOXO
Meg

Holiday Gift Guide 2015: The Hostess

Can you believe it? We're practically halfway through November. Thanksgiving is around the corner and Christmas will be here before we know it!

I like to start my holiday shopping early. As I've gotten older, I've realized I do not like crowds of people -- so for my own personal sanity, I should avoid malls for the rest of the year! Ha ha!

Kir and I will be bringing you 25 days of gift guides to get your creative, gift giving juices flowing.

We're starting off with a gift guide for the hostess with the hostess. Whether you're attending a white elephant gift exchange or a fancy holiday soirée, we've got you covered!

I always keep a few extra Bath and Body Works 3-wick candles on hand for year round hostess gifts! I love pairing them with a DIY decorative matchbook

Do you have any go-to hostess gifts?

XOXO
Meg

Holiday Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffers for Him

Opening stockings on Christmas morning is one of my all time favorite holiday traditions! My mom always fills my Dad's stocking with things he really needs, but doesn't necessarily want to buy -- underwear, undershirts, socks, etc.

Now that Kir and I are married, my mom (er... Santa?) is tasked with finding "fun" stocking stuffers for the boys!

Below are some little gifts that any guy would love to get!

Holiday Gift Guide: The Pet

Sometimes I think my mom has more fun buying the pets Christmas presents than picking out gifts for Kir and me! (just kidding... but not really).

The dogs and cats have a huge pile of toys and two years ago she bought them all a gurgling fountain watering station! Can anyone say spoiled?

Don't get me wrong, I love those little fur babies, which is why I put together a fun little collection of gifts for all the four legged friends on your gift list this year!

YarnItCindy: Doggie Tuxedo Sweater

Bing's Barkin' Bakery: Hot Dog Cookies

If I had a hamster, I would totally buy it that pink critter cruiser! So cute! And I know my childhood cat Zoe would love that cat cave! (Mom, Zoe wants the cat cave for Christmas!)

Are you buying your furry friends a gift this year?

XOXO
