Since we moved into our house a little less than a year ago I have found great joy in working in the yard. I don't exactly have a green thumb, but I do like to tinker in the flower beds -- weeding, planting, pruning. Being in the yard is such a nice escape from my otherwise sedentary job.

Pack a Picnic - My Favorite Gingham Finds

I've always been a big fan of gingham! My first introduction to the print was when I was a little girl - my baton costume was a pair of red daisy dukes and a white eyelet crop top with little red and white checked sleeves. (I'm hunting for a picture as we speak!) 

Now a days my love for the print is a whole lot more sophisticated, but it still reminds me of my 7 year old self marching in parades to the tune of "Boot Scootin' Boogie!"
